Overview and Desciption

Held in conjunction with ObesityWeek 2017, this live symposium uses an innovative infographic approach to visually guide learners through the management of obesity. Focusing on shared decision-making between the healthcare professional and the patient, this interactive meeting will include strategies for obesity assessment and risk stratification, as well as setting appropriate, individualized weight-loss goals. Participants will learn how to implement comprehensive management plans that account for each patient’s comorbid conditions and the benefits and limitations of adjunctive pharmacotherapy.
